Avery Johnson (Shore) & Gabriel Chipana (Mercer)
Every month we will highlight the incredible MatchFit Academy student-athletes and their accomplishments both on and off the field.
Avery Johnson - MatchFit Academy Shore
This year Avery was the only student awarded outstanding achievement in engineering and design. She accomplished this by designing, and then building, a prosthetic arm for a young girl in India and a prosthetic foot for a duck. Avery was also elected vice president for her school's National Honors Society.
Gabriel Chipana - MatchFit Academy Mercer
Gabriel completed 5th Grade and received the President's Education Award for Outstanding Academic Excellence, which came as a surprise considering his scores.
