The core objective is to create a challenging and competitive environment where the best of the best from each MatchFit Academy region (Morris, Essex, Central, Shore, Ocean and Mercer) can thrive together.
Through a series of ID clinics, we will identify and select players based on their birth year, placing them into carefully curated training pools (Blue and White) that meet year-round. This structure not only enhances individual skill development but also provides players with exposure to different coaching styles and tactical approaches, supplementing their regular team training. Additionally, selected players will have the opportunity to compete in high-level, stand-alone events, ensuring they experience game scenarios that match their advanced capabilities.
By participating in MatchFit Academy Best of the Best, players will benefit from training with the top talent in the region, guided by our highly qualified coaching staff. This program serves as a direct and clear progression pathway towards the ECNL and ECNL-RL. We believe that this initiative will significantly contribute to the growth and success of our players, providing them with the tools, exposure, and opportunities needed to excel at the highest levels of the sport.
